You don’t have time to waste on people like Hestia. You roll your eyes and shut your computer angrily. This is a serious issue, and people don’t even know about it! In a morbid sort of way, it is poignant, and also horrifying. They have a dark cloud of death hanging over them, yet they go about their lives as if nothing is wrong. You wish you could have that innocence, but you have been cursed—or is it blessed?—with the burden of knowing about the threat.

Yes, it is a curse, but it is also a blessing, because you have the ability to do something about it. And you really, really want to do something about it. You want to do everything in your power. And you have the ability to help, which is good.

You know that you have to do something, but you aren’t sure what. You begin pacing, stepping on papers but not caring if you crumple them beneath your feet.

What to do, what to do?

You weigh the pros and cons of what you are thinking of doing in your mind. It could potentially prove to be deadly for you, but very, very helpful for others. Are you willing to become a martyr for their sake?
